NASCAR '15 Season Update Announcement Tomorrow, Pics Revealed.

@MattDusenberry on Twitter, who seems to be one of the top dogs working on a 2015 Season Update to the 2014 title NASCAR '14 have confirmed a NASCAR '15 announcement tomorrow at Texas Motor Speedway. Matt has been posting pictures on Twitter the past few days of the NASCAR '15 update, I will take a look at them & have  alist of the confirmed schemes and drivers that will be in this update, so far.

Posted on Tuesday, upfront you can see Ryan Blaney and Aric Almirola side by side, Jeb Burton a little ways behind and you can barely see Ty Dillon's Kroger/Cheerios Chevy that he ran in the Daytona 500.  Already, 3 new drivers seem to be heading our way. A car's front bumper on the outside of Dillon's car is barely visible, can't tell who it is but my best guess is Kevin Harvick's Jimmy John's scheme, nothing solid though.

A LOT more to see this time around. Let's get started. Up front, it's Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kasey Kahne, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. David Gilliland and reappearing Almirola, Jimmie Johnson, a Napa car which seems to be Chase Elliot in the #25, Carl Edwards in the orange machine with teammate Denny Hamlin behind. The rest of the outside lane is made up of Jeff Gordon, Martin Truex Jr, and what it looks to be Clint Bowyer very faintly. Behind Gilliland is the #23 Dr Pepper Toyota of JJ Yeley, after I gave the Google Machine a quick search of "2015 Dr. Pepper NASCAR". Trevor Bayne is to the left of Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano follows with an identifiable car behind, then Kurt Busch before all the cars become unidentifiable. But, I may see Danica Patrick just at the top of the photo. On the inside line behind Elliot is Austin Dillon, two unrecognizable paint schemes, Kyle Larson, another unknown car, Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, with the car behind unknown.

In the Infield, Josh Wise, Michael McDowell, and AJ Allmendinger can be seen, along with Ty Dillon and Johnson. Kyle Busch, Michael Annet, and previously seen JJ Yeley are in a cluster. Jamie McMurray and Chase Elliot make contact, Casey Mears and Regan Smith in the #7 can be seen towards the wall. Off to the left is Kasey Kahne spinning, then Clint Bowyer, Brad Keselowski, Brian Vickers, and an unkown car.

A bit of a bombshell here. Erik Jones is in the #20 GameStop Toyota, which means, either Matt Kenseth isnt in this update or (more likely) number sharing is back, Regan Smith from the previous offers proof since Alex Bowman could very well show up in the #7 TBR Chevy. Paul Menard shows up for the first time today, while all other cars in this pic seems to have already appeared in previous pics.

So, here's a list of confirmed, likely, and questionable list of drivers showing up in this new NASCAR '15 Season update.

35 confirmed, 7 likely, which adds up to 42/43, unless they put more than 43 2015 teams (unlikely).

So, of the 6 questionable teams, which do I think will fill that last spot? First, I'll say who probably won't be in it. The #51 team and Justin Allgaier haven't been in NASCAR 14 at all, so I doubt he'll be in NASCAR '15. Which leaves 5 teams that were all in NASCAR '14, and a handful of them are for sure not making it back to NASCAR '15. Bowman was in NASCAR '14 with BK Racing, now in Micheal Annet's old ride, it seems likely it may not return since Annet moved to a new ride (basically, my theory is the #46 team replaced the #7 team in this game). Landon Cassil was in NASCAR '14, but no signs of the team so far. It's a small team that lacks sponsors, it may not make it into NASCAR '15. The #44 Team's owner was a member on the former NASCAR The Game forums and confirmed he got the #44 car in NASCAR 14's update last summer, but since it sounded like a hard deal to make in the first place (it's a really small team), I don't think it's coming back. Nemecheck isnt running a lot races this year, which leaves me to who I think will be that last spot: Matt DiBenedetto. The two other BK Racing cars are already confirmed in the game, so it makes sense for the 3rd ride to get in as well.
